ya thanks for the tip-emailed the guy today should be picking it up on friday....I have a heated outbuilding that would be perfect for it- after i put pool coping on it of coarse.....may be a hip???
well i thought i had it-we scheduled a pick up for friday-then he emailed me lastnight and said he's giving it to his neighbor-what an ass.......looks like I'll have to build alittle something
Let me know if you need help. Bending sheets of plywood is not a one-man job, especially if your transitions are tight (as they should be). I can also get you the name of a lumber yard that can deliver the lumber if you give them the takeoff list. They have quality masonite and lumber, and it's a lot easier to have it dropped off in your driveway than trying to haul it yourself.

For instructions on making your own poured-in-place pool coping, check here: http://www.skatepark.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=467
For instructions on putting the real-deal pool coping to a wooden ramp, see here: http://www.skatepark.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6462
The lumber yards that I'd try are Chase Lumber and Stark Lumber. Not sure if you need a commercial account with them in order to get a delivery. We had a contractor buddy make the call for us.

I'm sure it was yours until he received a cash offer from someone...

I built one in my basement over a weekend following the detailed instructions, with some slight modifications.

I purchased all my supplies - lumber and hardware and Home Depot.
The cost for the ramp was just shy of $500.
I'm also available if you need help - the tedious part is screwing in the 2 layers of ply - I must have used at least 500 screws.
thanks guys-I really need to build something-great pics JD and Tim I'll probably contact u on that lumberyard
